Question and Sponsorship Policy

The question belongs to everyone. Its wording stays neutral. The one clearly labeled sponsored answer belongs to the current highest valid bidder.

Effective and last updated August 28, 2026

1. Sponsor-fit questions

A question qualifies when a company can be a useful sponsored answer without a reasonable visitor mistaking that placement for our factual, political, scientific, medical, legal, financial, or moral verdict.

Strong questions usually ask who can help, where someone can find a service, which product fits a use case, or what a person or business could use to solve a practical problem.

2. Questions we reject

  • questions with an answer, accusation, superiority claim, or advertisement baked into the wording;
  • duplicates or trivial variations of an existing question;
  • political, election, religious, protected-identity, or culture-war verdicts;
  • medical, legal, financial, safety, or other high-stakes conclusions that should not be decided by a paid placement;
  • personal accusations, defamation, harassment, doxxing, or questions targeting a private individual;
  • content that is illegal, fraudulent, hateful, violent, exploitative, sexually explicit, or harmful to children;
  • questions designed primarily to manipulate search engines, mislead visitors, or evade another policy; and
  • anything we reasonably determine is not useful, neutral, safe, or appropriate for this format.

3. Curation

We may reject, edit, clarify, combine, categorize, or publish submitted questions. Buyers cannot select custom wording, rewrite a published question, or condition payment on editorial treatment. A published question keeps a stable public identity even when its sponsored answer changes.

4. Eligible company links

A sponsored answer must use a public company or product website that the buyer owns or is authorized to represent. The destination must clearly identify the product, service, or responsible organization and provide a working way to contact it.

We may reject link shorteners, hidden redirects, tracking links that obscure the destination, unfinished pages, impersonation, malware, phishing, scams, or destinations whose core activity is unsupported by Dodo Payments or payment-network rules.

5. Restricted and prohibited destinations

We may reject or remove destinations involving illegal goods or services, adult content, hate or violence, counterfeit or infringing goods, deceptive earnings claims, unlicensed regulated services, gambling, weapons, controlled substances, political fundraising, or high-risk financial, cryptocurrency, medical, legal, or similar offers.

Possessing a license does not guarantee acceptance. We may require verification or decline a category based on legal, safety, payment-provider, or reputational risk.

6. Paid placement disclosure

Every live answer is labeled as a sponsored answer and displays its current bid. Payment determines placement. Appearance does not mean that we have tested, verified, recommended, certified, or endorsed the company or its claims.

7. Buying and takeovers

  • Open answers start at $5 USD.
  • The next minimum is 10% above the current bid, rounded up to the next $5.
  • Buyers may bid higher in $5 increments.
  • Confirmed payment establishes the current sponsored answer.
  • A buyer may be replaced at any time by a later valid higher bid.
  • No purchase guarantees duration, traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, or search results.

8. Enforcement

We may refuse, delay, recategorize, disable, or remove a question or placement with or without advance notice when needed to enforce these rules, protect users or rights holders, comply with law or provider requirements, or manage legal, security, or reputational risk.

A buyer removed for violating these rules is not entitled to a refund. We may block repeat violators and preserve relevant records.

9. Rights and abuse reports

Email support@onlyoneanswer.com with the relevant question or placement URL, destination URL, a clear explanation, your contact information, and your authority to report the issue. We may temporarily restrict content while reviewing a report.
